Multi-cultural center
The core of cultural life of the city is the “Multi-cultural center” old soap factory that houses conference hall, conference, permanent and temporary exhibitions. Gets the name “Benjamin the Lesbian”, in honor of the great Teacher of the Nation, born in Megalochori Plomari province.
Ouzo Museum (Barbayanni) [MORE]

The World of ouzo (Ouzo Plomari Isidoros Arvanitis) [MORE] At Plomari village in Plomari Ouzo Distillery of Isidoros Arvanitis, operates Ouzo Museum under the name “The World of Ouzo”. Guests have the opportunity to learn about the history of Ouzo, touch and smell herbs and fruits of Lesbian land that are components of Ouzo Plomari, they can wander in the bottling area and watch closely the whole ritual of distillation which is made in 18 small handmade copper stills. At the same time they can taste Ouzo Plomari Isidoros Arvanitis taking part in tastings while on site, there is a remarkable collection of museum objects.
Soap Museum
In Multi-cultural center of the Municipality (renovated and retrofitted former soap-industry of Poulia) operates “Museum of Soap”, which presents all the product manufacturing tools, tags of various brands lesbian soap, and business correspondence of the soap industry owners with overseas markets. Finally, in the same place and a permanent photographic exhibition for boats of Plomari, as the area had a remarkable commercial fleet with which the ship owners of Plomari sailed in the Aegean and the Mediterranean and all the way up to the Black Sea.
Ecclesiastical Museum [MORE] The ecclesiastical museum Church St. Nicholas Plomari is located in the courtyard of the church of St. Nicholas, was opened by the Metropolitan Mytilene Mr. James in 2005.
